Barney Mallon passed away October 2003.
Barney played bass with the real Dukes of Dixieland in the late 1950's. During which time he played bass on 2 Audio Fidelity albums, toured with and appeared with the real Dukes on a 1962 British film called "It's Trad-Dad" plus the 1958 "Timex All-Star Jazz Show" hosted by Garry Moore just to name a few of Barney's appearances with the Dukes of Dixieland.
Barney enjoyed a life of music, the Assunto Brother's Dukes of Dixieland were fortunate to have had Barney's talent be part of their real Dukes' musical legacy.
