Jim Beebe, 73 passed away August 29, 2004 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
Jim was already an accomplished musician when asked in the mid 1960's by Frank Assunto to fill the void left on trombone by the death of his brother Freddie. He not only performed with the real Dukes of Dixieland, Jim was also a genuine friend of Frank's. As such it just so happens that Frank spent his last Thanksgiving while on the road in 1973 with Jim and his family.
The Assuntos' thank Jim for his friendship and contribution to the music recorded and performed by the real Dukes of Dixieland.
