| Lowell Miller passed away Monday, November 22, 2004 in Rochester, NY.
Lowell played tuba with the real Dukes of Dixieland on 4 of the Audio Fidelity recordings
in the late 1950's. He also toured with and appeared on numerous TV Shows with the
Assunto brothers, a video sample can be seen on our "Dukes' Stuff" page. Lowell also
played with Al Hirt for many years and was considered to be a fine trombone player as
well. The Assunto Family thanks Lowell for his contributions to the music performed and recorded by the real Dukes of Dixieland. In addition to his lifetime of pleasing music fans with his talent. |
